Every new day gives us a new opportunity to try something new. Recently, I started watching old episodes of Kitchen Nightmares to expand my horizons into the world of food-based reality TV shows. I've watched so many different reality shows in my days, but most of them are fashion and competition based, like America's Next Top Model or Project Runway. I like those shows because you get to experience the product being made (fashion photo, garment, etc.) and judge it for yourself. That's the problem I've had with food-based reality TV in the past. I'm not there to tell if the eggplant is undercooked; I have to rely on Gordon Ramsey to tell me if it is or not. I had my reluctance, but I've found that Kitchen Nightmares is an incredible, though repetitive, show. Gordon Ramsey is so entertaining while uncensored, and I support him yelling at business owners for keeping rotten meat in the freezer. If tomorrow holds a world where I'm binging seasons of Hell's Kitchen, I would not be surprised.
